1. Oil Massage


Oil Massage is a great treatment for sift and silky long hair. And so our ancestors made it compulsory for us once every week. For women it is a very important treatment to maintain good skin and hair health. Massaging our favorite oil from head to toe will rejuvenate our total system. Oil massage on head will stimulate natural oils from scalp and increase the smooth and shining texture of our hair. It increases the blood circulation on our scalp which helps in hair growth resulting in thicker hair.

We use sesame oil along with coconut and olive oil as a massage oil. Before massaging, heat the oil slightly, then massage on the scalp and hair well by using fingers. If you have hair fall problem you should not go for a direct oil massage on scalp, as it will increase the hair fall. You will have to use a cotton ball dipped in the oil to apply oil on the head. This treatment keeps the dry hair problem away from us.

2. Almond oil

3. Coconut Oil Hair Treatment

Combine three egg yolks with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of honey. Beat the mixture until it is well mixed, and then apply it to all of your hair. Let this sit on your hair under a shower cap for thirty minutes, then rinse. Use shampoo and conditioner to completely remove all traces of the egg. Shower with warm but not too hot water as it may cook the egg yolks in your hair making it difficult to remove. If you do not like the smell or mess of raw eggs, you can also buy a ready egg oil. 13. Amla Powder Mixture


Make a mixture using amla powder, shikakai powder, ritha powder, henna powder, and bhringaraj powder in equal proportion. Add water to this mixture and heat this mixture. When the mixture becomes lukewarm apply gently on your hair. Leave this mixture on your hair for 15-20 minutes and wash your hair without using shampoo to get the best results.

14. Mayonnaise


Apply mayonnaise to your hair and leave it on for up to 1 hour before rinsing it off. The oil content of mayonnaise will help to nourish your hair, increasing its shine and even reversing hair damage.

15. Aloe vera


Use aloe directly from a plant or find 100% bottled aloe vera. Apply the gel to your hair, massaging it in around the roots and working towards the tips. Let this sit in your hair for two hours or more, and then rinse it out. Follow this with a regular hair wash using shampoo and conditioner.

16. Avocado And banana


Mash one whole avocado and one banana together to form a paste. Massage the paste into your hair, making sure to cover all of your strands. Allow the mask to set for an hour, and then rinse out. The combination of avocado and banana work to soften split ends and add elasticity to your locks.

17. Yogurt Hair Mask


Not only is yogurt good for your hair it’s also great for your skin! Yogurt is also a natural conditioner and adds loads of shine to the hair. Also, the egg and lemon juice in the mask add lots of extra shine! (Tip: you can even just use lemon juice to add shine by rinsing your hair with it after a shampooing/conditioning your hair, and styling it as usual.)

Take 1 cup yogurt, 2 tbs lemon juice, and 1 egg. Mix ingredients until smooth. Apply(AFTER SHAMPOOING) all over hair, leave on for about 20-25 mins. Rinse thoroughly with warm water (not hot water because egg can scramble.) Condition and style as usual.

18. Eat Well

You are what you eat, and if all you eat is junk, your hair (and skin) will rat you out. A healthier diet will give you healthier hair, though you don’t need to take a special supplement. Skip the fattening fried foods in favor of lots of fresh fruits and veggies, and replace soda with water or all-natural mixed fruit juices. You’ll look, and feel, a lot better.

19. Cold Water Treatment

Hot water can strip the moisture off of your hair, a useful technique is to rinse the hair with cold water after it is fully washed and conditioned. This helps retain some of the moisture and gives you soft and silky hair.

20. Avoid blow drying 

If you are in a hurry then only reaching out for the blow dryers otherwise try and dry your hair naturally. If at all if you have to use the dryers then use the coolers to dry your hair and avoid heat for drying as it tends to damage your hair.

21. Comb your hair

This is the basic step which we have learned before to take care of our hair, but nowadays people don't usually care about combing. They just apply gel and make some funky hair style and leave hair without styling. Combing hair is very important, it should be done at least twice a day. 22. Other Important Hair Care Tips

(i) Avoid using shampoos that contain SLS and SLES. Try to use herbal home remedies to repair your hair, harsh chemicals will make your hair condition even worse.

(ii) Don’t tie up your hair very tight, it will leads to hair damage.

(iii) Whenever you go out cover your hair with a scarf, because pollution and the sun our major factors contributing to hair damage. Use only branded shampoos and conditioners, if it is herbal based its even better.

(iv) Wash your hair weekly thrice if you have oily scalp, otherwise weekly twice is enough. Because, washing your hair often will dry up the natural oils on the scalp and result in dry hair problem.
