Puffy eyes are one of the most common beauty problems. 1. Almond Oil


Almond oil reduces puffiness and dark circles around the eye. The vitamins present in the oil nourish the skin and the oil moisturizes the skin. Take two to three drops of almond oil and apply it under your eye and massage the area lightly using your ring finger before going to bed. Do not apply pressure while massaging. Massaging improves the blood circulation around the eyes and reduces water retention around the eyes.

2. Aloe Vera


Aloe Vera work great to tone eyes bags. You can get freshly squeezed Aloe Vera gel and dab it under your eyes. Leave it overnight and wash your face in the morning. Trust Aloe vera gel’s anti-inflammatory agents to help decrease those puffy under-eye bags and maintain a fresh appearance.

3. Cucumbers


This is one of the most effective natural remedy for puffiness under the eye. The coolness of the cucumbers will soothe the eye and the anti-inflammatory properties help to reduce the inflammation of the skin. Take two slices of refrigerated cucumber and place it over the eyes. Relax with the cucumbers on the eyes for 25 minutes. This will soothe and refresh your eyes and reduce the puffiness.

4. Egg White 


Egg whites are a nutritious, cholesterol-free breakfast, but they can also be incorporated into your cosmetic regiment. If eye bags have been bothering you, beat a few egg-whites in a bowl, but instead of pouring them in the pan, spread them over your eyes with a brush. Wait about 20 minutes until the mixture dries and your skin starts feeling tighter, then rinse with lukewarm water.

5. Potato 


Keep a raw potato in refrigerator for a few minutes. Slice this freshly refrigerated potato into two and place these two halves gently over your closed eyes, covering the puffed areas under your eyes and leave it like that for 15 minutes. You will notice a substantial reduction in the puffiness, as the under eye bags will diminish in size.

6. Tea Bags


If you get up in the morning with puffy eyes and if you do not want people to see the under eye bags then chilled tea bags are the best option. The caffeine present in the tea constricts the blood vessels around the eyes and reduces the swelling and redness. You can use either green tea bags or black tea bags for this purpose. Put the tea bags in hot water for a minute and then refrigerate it for some time. Lie back and place the tea bags over the eyes. Leave it on the eyes for 20-30 minutes. Wash your eyes after 30 minutes in cold water. You will have refreshed eyes.

7. Vitamin E Oil

Vitamin E is necessary for the skin health and applying vitamin E will help to keep the skin under the eye healthy. This also helps to reduce the swelling around the eyes. Mix few drops of vitamin E oil in chilled water taken in a bowl. Mix it thoroughly. Now dip the cotton pads in this and place it on the eyes. Leave the cotton pads over the eyes for about 20 minutes to reduce swelling under the eyes.

8. Water

The easiest way to get rid of puffy eyes is to drink water. When the body is well hydrated, there is less chance of water retention that can cause your under-eye area and other parts of your body to swell. Water also helps flush toxins out of the body.

To stay well hydrated, drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water each day. In addition to this, you must reduce the amount of salt you eat to reduce water retention in the body. Also, avoid caffeinated and carbonated beverages that can be dehydrating.
